What do you offer for children during weekend services?

We offer full children's programming for infants through 5th grade during our Saturday 6:00 pm and Sunday 9:30 and 11:00 am services. We take our ministry with your children seriously and strive to provide quality programming for them - programming that is not only fun, but transforming! For our elementary age children we use The Gospel Project, an incredible curriculum that helps connect your kids to Jesus and learn His Word! To learn more about The Gospel Project click here.

What Bible version do you use?

The Bible version most commonly used at Emmanuel Community Church is the New International Version, which is the translation of choice during our worship services.

What kind of adult education/spiritual growth opportunities do you offer?

You will hear us say it often, "His Word, Our Walk." We believe that spiritual growth happens through the careful study of God's Word and application of it to our lives. That being said, we offer a variety of opportunities to study God's Word together. We do not offer traditional "Sunday School" but rather offer opportunities for study throughout the week at a variety of different times. You can check out our upcoming studies here.

How should I dress?

Comfortably! We do not have a "dress code" at Emmanuel Community Church. You will see everything from shorts and jeans to suits and dresses. Dress how you are most comfortable!

How do I get connected?

There are many ways to get connected at Emmanuel Community Church so we suggest you get a taste of all of them by joining us for our eConnect class. This one-hour class will introduce you to the ministries of our church and help you find the next step that is right for you. What kind of outreach is the church involved in?

We have the privilege to be partnered with a number of ministries and missionaries both locally and internationally. For a full listing of our partners and their ministries click here.

Is Emmanuel Community Church affiliated with a denomination?

Emmanuel Community Church is a part of the United Brethren in Christ denomination. Our desire is to focus on the essentials of the Christian faith while keeping the less important issues open to debate and discussion. Our church fathers determined seven items to be essential for those who choose to be United Brethren. For more information regarding the UB denomination, visit www.ub.org.
