Who are Stephen Ministers?
A Stephen Minister is a layperson from Emmanuel Community Church who provides one-to-one Christian care for ECC members or attenders during a difficult or troubling time in life. When we face these storms, it is helpful to have someone come alongside us to provide Christ-centered support, encouragement, and prayer. Paul reminds all of us in Galatians 6:2,
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.
