The Rescue Mission

The Rescue Mission is a faith-based, nonprofit, organization, providing restorative care to men, women and children experiencing a homeless crisis. Their mission is to provide, through the power of Jesus Christ, a home for the homeless, food for the hungry, and hope for their future. The Rescue Mission serves Fort Wayne, Allen County and its nine surrounding counties. The Mission is comprised of four ministries, or houses, that function as communities of compassion: The Life House (immediate housing program for men & community meals program), Restoration House (short and long term residential programs for men), Charis House (short and long term residential programs for women and children), and The Treasure House (a thrift store whose proceeds help fund the ministry).
